A photograph tells the single story of one moment in time. An Artograph draws into one creation the elements of many related stories and reflects the emotional product of compound experiences.

A picture is worth a thousand words appeared in a 1911 newspaper article quoting newspaper editor Tess Flanders discussing journalism and publicity. An Artograph can mould your character, experiences, personality and style into an image of lasting beauty and intrigue.

For centuries The Mona Lisa and other great works of art have been the subject of debate and conversation – they reflect the times and philosophy of the artist and importantly provide us with rich fodder for discussion. An Artograph, carefully created, can provide you with a conversation piece, an element for your life story, unique content for your book … indeed it promises true gratitude if given as a gift.

Consider the emotion of a story well-told, consider too the depth of experience that would be garnered by looking deep into a beautiful and enigmatic Artograph? Your Artograph tells a visual story. By considering giving a gift of an Artograph you are demonstrating that you care enough about the recipient that you wish to give them a lasting, meaningful and story-rich artefact for the future. Not merely a bauble from some department store shelf.

Herewith is your opportunity to commission a unique gift for that special person. Perhaps it is your chance to order an artwork reflective of your story to fulfil a position in your book, your wall or your mantelpiece.

Contact Liz, (021) 141 0336 she will listen to your circumstances and will create for you an Artograph that may be quirky, perhaps intriguing, surely thought-provoking but always beautiful and always with a story to tell.

BIO

Liz Abbott emigrated to New Zealand in her early twenties and now lives in the North Island on the beautiful North Shores of Auckland. For as long as she can remember she has always had a camera at the ready. Liz is fortunate, now after many years of teaching, to have time for taking copious photographs, weaving them together to compose stories with digital art. This has developed into a passion and her muse. Amongst a variety of works, Liz enjoys capturing the antics and humour of local Steampunkers and placing them into various scenes and scenarios. She loves the small moments in life capturing them in a single shot preserved forever.

“Doing our art keeps us rooted in the present moment and as long as we are there, in the now in the One Moment, we are safe." - Jan Phillips - writer, photographer, poet and speaker and of many other virtues. Liz has married her muse.
